On 31 January 2019, Dipl.-Ing. Dr.techn. Péter Nagy was awarded the 1st prize of the Austrian Foundation Engineering Prize for his groundbreaking dissertation on the topic of "Vibratory compaction - dynamic compaction control based on vibrator movement" at the 12th Austrian Geotechnical Conference in Vienna. The Austrian Foundation Engineering Award is the most important award in the field of foundation engineering in Austria and is presented every two years to young scientists who have produced excellent scientific work in the field of geotechnical engineering that is particularly relevant to practice.
