We warmly welcome Vaclav Miklas, a PhD candidate from Brno University of Technology as a guest at our institute. He will work together with Liad Weisz on innovative technologies for micropollutant abatement from wastewater, one of the major updates in the recast of the Urban Wastewater Treatment Directive presented last October.
Coming from the Laboratory of Energy Intensive Processes, he will dedicate his one-month research stay to exchange knowledge on advanced wastewater treatment, and bring in his expertise in energy – one of the key parameters to assess how sustainable technologies actually are.
