Young Scientist Stefan Beisl from TU Wien has been researching on lignin-based organic glue at the University of Tokyo. Last year, JASEC crew Iris Mach and Thomas Rief visited Prof. Ejima’s Lab at the University of Tokyo together with our vice rector Prof. Froehlich and Stefan’s supervisor Prof. Friedl.

Just recently a joint paper has been published as an outcome of this successful cooperation between TU Wien and the University of Tokyo. Sincere thanks to TU Wien’s International Office for the financial support of this research which surely is a best practice example for our exchange program.
