On June 16, 2021 the students of the Master Programs “Professional MBA Automotive Industry” and “Professional MBA Facility Management” celebrated the successful completion of their MBA (Master of Business Administration) study  together with friends and family in the Festsaal of the TU Wien. International participants who could not travel to Vienna joined the ceremony online. The 21 graduates - 13 from 5 countries (Automotive Industry) and 8 from 6 countries (Facility Management) showed the international reputation of the master’s programs of the TU Wien Academy for Continuing Education.

The ceremony was opened by the Dean of Academic Affairs for Continuing Education Prof. Dr. Bob Martens FRICS. After warm welcome he gave a brief overview of the development of the TU Wien and the Continuing Education at the TU Wien. He wished the graduates all the best and that they stay in touch with TU Wien.

Prof. Ing. František Uherek, PhD., Vice-rector for Cooperation with Practice, Slovak University of Technology in Bratislava congratulated Alumni and talked about the cooperation between two universities and the successful development of the MBA “Automotive Industry” with 155 participants and graduates from 29 countries. He emphasized that all graduates are well trained to deal with current and future challenges in the automotive sector. He wished graduates all the best in their future career.

Mag. Andrej Grieb (interim. Provincial Rescue Commander of the Vienna Red Cross & Judge of the Regional Court for Civil Matters Vienna) gave a festive speech. As a lecturer he spoke about the efforts of students during their study and his positive experience with the MBA students and the program team.

In the main part of the graduation ceremony, the graduates received their graduation documents. Prof. Wilfried Sihn, the academic director of the Professional MBA Automotive Industry Program congratulated the graduates the completion of the study. He looked back the highlights of the two years study, such as excursions to renown automotive companies, business evenings and international module in Stuttgart. Now the graduates have the tool set finding solution to meet the challenges in the automotive industry. Onwards, Prof. Wilfried Sihn presented the "Best Study Award" to Mr. Emrah Eminoglu for his performance during his MBA Automotive Industry study.

For MBA Facility Management Prof. Alexander Redlein, Academic Director of the program congratulated graduates and mentioned the cooperation with the Stanford University and the influence of the COVID-19. He asked graduates to take challenges and use knowledge in their job. Finally he wished to stay in touch.  He presented the "Best Study Award" to Mr. Elie Matar El Rachini for his performance during the MBA Facility Management Study.

As Valedictorian Mr. Ramesh Selvasankar (Automotive Industry) and Ms. Rana Esmaeili (Facility Management) expressed the sincere thanks to family members for their support and patience during the program. After short insight about the experience they congratulated colleagues for their achievement and thanked them for the good cooperation during two years study.
