Why Career Coaching?

The Career Coaching Program aims to accompany you productively and reflectively during your habilitation period or profiling phase after your dissertation.

Participants are expected to be reflective, want to work on themselves and have a goal in mind that coaching can help you achieve.

Networking and Peergroup

Regular coaching meetings offer the opportunity to discuss current problems and inquiries, to develop solution strategies and to open up options for action. The reflection process led by our trainer Ute Riedler, opens an external URL in a new window supports you in your personal problem-solving competence as well as in the development and utilization of the peer group's consulting competence. The coaching process serves to proactively and solution-oriented question thought patterns and to identify personal strengths and fields of development. Individual habits are treated in the same way as institutional rules and obstacles that make the path through an academic career difficult.

The trainer's input in topics such as career planning, application and negotiation strategies and much more complements the coaching. In addition, topic-related seminars can be offered at your request.
