Job Shadowing for Employees

In job shadowing, the employee accompanies a colleague in the same or a similar workplace (within or outside TU Wien) for a certain period of time during their daily work. By observing the colleague at work, they gain a practical impression of their tasks. This is intended to give the employee a practical insight into other or similar areas of work in order to expand/deepen their interdisciplinary or cross-functional skills.

During the appraisal interview, the necessary framework conditions and development measures are defined and established on the basis of professional and personal development goals, which the employee needs in order to achieve the agreed objectives.
