This fee applies to your semester at TU Wien and covers, among other things, also the ÖH accident and liability insurance, opens an external URL in a new window (NB! This is not a medical/personal insurance!).

The payment credentials will be provided to you upon your attendance of Orientation Session held by International Office.
Student Union Fee payment deadlines: 31.October for Winter Semester and 31.March for Summer semester.

Additionally, students have to take care for health insurance on their own:

  • Students from the EU can use their own insurance card for medical services.
  • Students from non-EU member states who do not have health insurance may purchase Austrian student health insurance (“Studierendenkrankenversicherung”). The monthly premium depends on the insurance coverage and starts at around €60.
