All nuclear resonance spectrometers at the Faculty of Technical Chemistry are organized in the NMR Center TU Wien. The center was set up as part of a HRSM project (NMR Association of the University of Vienna / TU Wien) that was acquired together with the University of Vienna. Further equipment was financed by the TU Wien and the WWTF; some spectrometers were brought in by the faculty's institutes.

The center reports directly to the Vice Rectorate for Research and Innovation and is led by Dr. Christian Hametner (christian.hametner@tuwien.ac.at). The measurements on the spectrometers located on the Getreidemarkt campus range from routine analyzes for research-based teaching to the processing of complex questions as part of international research projects; Inquiries from outside the TU Wien are also welcome.
