Welcome to Paths in Maths!
Paths in Maths: Successful careers of female mathematicians!
On the 12th of May¹, we invite you to another edition of ‘Paths in Maths’. This time we focus on potential career paths after finishing a math degree. Four successful mathematicians will share information on their career paths in academia and industry. Among others things, they will speak about how they obtained their first job, what their typical workday is like and which important experiences they gained on their ways.
Additionally, Stefanie Madsen, the representative for Family-Work Balance Issues at TU Wien, gives an overview on possibilities for support and compatibility during a PhD at TU Wien.
During the coffee break and open discussion that follow, you’ll have the chance to discuss any further questions with the speakers and other participants.
