This Master's degree program is offered jointly by the Faculties of Informatics and Electrical Engineering and Information Technology and combines the best of both worlds. During your studies, you will acquire in-depth knowledge of central concepts and methods of informatics and mathematics, computer engineering and electrical engineering.

EMMC 2025 International Workshops

The EMMC 2025 will take place at the TU Vienna from April 8 to 10 this year. In addition, the Open Workshops of MatchMaker and Mammos are available with free registration for April 7.

Under the title “Accelerated Innovation and Sustainability by a Materials Modeling and Data Ecosystem”, the EMMC 2025 International Workshop will take place at the Vienna University of Technology from April 8-10. This leading event in Europe aims to connect stakeholders in materials & digital fields from industry, academia and research. In addition, the Open Workshops “Data Life Cycles in the World of Materials Modelling and Characterisation” and “Data-driven Magnetic Materials Design and Optimization” of the EU projects MatchMaker and Mammos will take place on 7 April. ETIT, Congratulations to Ferenc Krausz for the 2023 Nobel Prize in Physics

Ferenc Krausz - together with Pierre Agostini and Anne L'Huillier - was awarded the 2023 Nobel Prize in Physics. The experiments that Ferenc Krausz carried out at the Institute of Photonics at TU Wien in the 1990s and early 2000s were explicitly cited by the Nobel Prize Committee as the reason for the award.
