Ahmed Khattab completed his MSc degree in Biomedical Engineering at the Vienna University of Technology in close cooperation with the Medical University of Vienna.

His master’s thesis focused on Electrical Impedance Tomography to assess the lung regional ventilation distribution in anesthetized patients during high-frequency jet ventilation.

Since June 2023, he works as a Project Assistant and pursuing a doctoral degree at the Institute of Biomedical Electronics. His research focuses on Electrical Impedance Spectroscopy to establish reliable non-invasive electronic detection of cancer cells.
