The range of courses offered by the Research Unit Sociology consists of over 30 courses and teaches social science and social space-related topics and research methods, especially in spatial planning and architecture. In doing so, we enjoy working continuously with colleagues from other research areas and with external experts.

Teaching goals

Within the framework of the respective study objectives, qualification profiles and contents of the Bachelor's and Master's Programms "Spatial Planning and Development" and "Architecture", we aim in the Bachelor's Programme to impart technical fundamentals, methodological competence and appropriate 'learning to learn'.

In the Master's Programme, the focus is on deepening scientific-analytical knowledge and promoting independent application. Furthermore, the promotion of social and communicative competences is important to us.
