Hans-Peter Walchhofer

Hans Peter Walchhofer studied spatial and regional planning at TU Wien, completed his PhD in 1999 and qualified as a consulting engineer for urban and regional planning in 2011.

His teaching and research activities focus on the Alpine region, resource-efficient land use and settlement structures and land-use planning.

He is a co-founder of the Institute for Spatial Interaction and Simulation (IRIS) and a partner in the office "Projekte-SV".
