Information Event: WWTF Project Call 2014 "Mathematics and ..."

WWTF has announced its Call 2014 with the focus on "Mathematics and ..." for experienced scientists. The information event will be in cooperation with WWTF (in English language).

Projects should strive for innovative mathematical methods that lead to applicable solutions in and together with other disciplines (a mathematical applicant together with a partner from another discipline or vice versa). The WWTF "Mathematics and ..." program targets high-quality scientific projects with no guaranteed short-term payoff but addressing an area where there is a recognized problem affecting society, economy and/or technology. Funding range per project is EUR 200.000-650.000. A total of EUR 4.5 million will be dedicated to this call.

Der WWTF hat seinen Call 2014 im Schwerpunkt "Mathematik und..." für erfahrene WissenschaftlerInnen angekündigt. Die Informationsveranstaltung findet in Zusammenarbeit mit dem WWTF in englischer Sprache statt.
Ziel der Projekte soll es sein, in einem disziplinenübergreifenden Team innovative mathematische Methoden (weiter) zu entwickeln, die in und gemeinsam mit anderen Wissenschaftsfeldern zu einsetzbaren Problemlösungen führen. Für diese Ausschreibung stehen 4.5 Mio Euro zur Verfügung.
