This information event will be held in English and is for TU Wien staff interested in basic research and scholarship programmes, regardless of their career stage.

You will get insights in FWF organisation, the underlying assessment procedures and the FWF funding portfolio, in particular, individual projects and mobility programs. Furthermore, we will present TU Wien internal support regarding the application and the administration of FWF projects.  

Afterwards, TU Wien researchers present their successful FWF projects and are happy to answer any upcoming questions. Speakers are

After the general introduction you will be able to ask your specific questions to FWF experts at a roundtable. The FWF offers the following groups 1. Single Projects
2. Special Research Areas, Research Groups, doc.funds
3. Mobility and Women's Funding Programs, Young Investigator Research Groups
4. International programs

We ask you to assign one of the groups mentioned above (multiple answers possible) and to send, if possible, your questions in advance, so we are able to design the afternoon session accordingly.

Diese Informationsveranstaltung bietet eine Einführung und einen Überblick über die Förderprogramme des FWF. Sie richtet sich an alle Grundlagenforschungs- und FWF-Förderungsinteressierten, ohne Einschränkung auf den Karrierestatus.

Zunächst stellt der FWF sich, die Begutachtungsverfahren sowie sein Förderportfolio vor: Insbesondere wird auf die FWF-Bereiche Einzelprojekte und Mobilitätsprogramme eingegangen. Weiters erfahren Sie, wo Sie TU Wien intern Unterstützung bei der Antragstellung sowie Abwicklung von FWF-Projekten erhalten. 

Im Anschluss präsentieren TU Wien-Forschende ihre erfolgreichen Projekte und stehen für Fragen gerne zu Verfügung. Sprecher_innen sind

Dabei wird auf die Details der jeweiligen Programme und konkrete Fragen zur Antragstellung eingegangen.

Wir ersuchen Sie, sich bei der Anmeldung einer der obengenannten Gruppen zuzuordnen (Mehrfachnennungen möglich) und Ihre Fragen eventuell auch schon vorab zu schicken, damit der Nachmittag speziell darauf abgestimmt werden kann.
