Basic Course 

This one-day-course provides an overview of the basics of intellectual property (IP) - trademarks, copyrights, patents and desings. It builds a practical understanding of core IP and licensing concepts from both the business and legal perspective. Brief and lucid explanations of the different methods to determine reasonable license fees & royalty rates and ways how to manage risks are introduced. The final Licensing case study will enable the participants to put into practice the lessons taught, under the supervision of the lecturers.

This is the introductory course in the LES Intellectual Asset Management Series and has been developed by licensing and intellectual property lawyers and industry members based on a wealth of experience in the field of licensing.
