About the speaker

Manuel Stagars, founder of 8GR8 Film Story-Driven Science, is an award-winning filmmaker and serial entrepreneur. He studied at the London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE) with post-grad designations in finance (CFA, CAICA, ERP). At the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology (ETH), Manuel led an Open Data research project as a senior researcher. With a background in fintech, blockchain, and deep tech, he has guest lectured at universities worldwide, including Tohoku University in Japan and Harvard, blending science and storytelling to make complex topics accessible and impactful.
