Target group:          All instructors who want to incorporate methods for peer-feedback (student-to-student) on written texts (in-class or online) into their course design

Language:               English 

Field of competence: Assessing performance according to student competencies

 

Learning outcomes: By the end of the course, participants can...

·       define the characteristics of constructive feedback.

·       identify which drafting level needs which kind of feedback.

·       instruct their students on how to give and receive constructive feedback in written or oral form.

·       design one (or more) peer-to-peer feedback exercises befitting their teaching design.

 

Content:

·       Characteristics of constructive feedback (on written texts)

·       Drafting levels and feedback

·       How does giving feedback work? In written form (e.g. on learning platforms)? In person (e.g. in an in-class setting)?

·       How do I instruct my students how to give and receive feedback?

·       Which feedback language can be used?

·       Working on own teaching design
