Over the past two days, Austrian wastewatertreatment experts gathered at the traditional Klärschlammtagung organized by ÖWAV - Österreichischer Wasser- und Abfallwirtschaftsverband in Wels, the seminar dedicated to sewagesludge and to related topics at the interface between waterquality and waste management.
Under the lead of Matthias Zessner, this edition focused on regional concepts for phosphorus recycling, advanced sludge treatment, and quality criteria for recycling. Besides top national speakers like Arabel Long (Amann), invited experts from Germany enriched the programme with their experiences at different stages of implementation of monoincineration and P recycling.
