Mentor applications are accepted NOW for the upcoming Winter Semester 2024/25 cohort.

Mentor training starts in September 2024.

Mentor-Mentee support is expected to be ongoing from October 2024 – February 2025, and can be extended for another 6 months thereafter, if both mentor and mentee agree to continue for a full year.

Mentors will be required to submit a 3-minute application video as part of the application process.

Evaluations of applications are ongoing. Once your application documents are submitted, they will be evaluated on a first-come first-served basis.

    Complete relevant information about your academic focus, the Doctoral College you work for, the semester you are about to start, and your role at the TU Wien.

    Then, please upload the .mp4 file of video before you submit the form.

  5. Receive information about next steps from Peer2Peer DOC Team via your TU Wien E-Mail, after the formal evaluation of your application.

Mentor applications will be evaluated solely based on the responses submitted via the 3-minute application video. Since mentors will receive training for their role and guidance throughout the program, no prior mentoring experience is needed.


Applications will be reviewed, and applicants will be notified by July 19, 2024.


Mentors will be informed about their acceptance into the program exclusively via their TU Wien E-Mail Address.

Matching between mentors and mentees will be performed on a rolling basis, and connections will be made on a first-come first-served basis. We encourage you to apply as soon as possible.

  • 4x virtual Mentor Meetings

[Meetings take place the 1st week of the month in November, December, January, and February for 1.5 hours virtually; dates and times to be determined by mentors together.]

  • 2x virtual Mentor Check-Ins with P2P Doc Team [November 7, 2024 from 3:00 – 4:20 pm CET & January 14, 2025 from 3:00 – 4:30 pm CET]


Mentor-Mentee Meetings
