Please note that the transitional rules on the commuter allowance in connection with home office will expire as of June 30, 2021. As of July 1, 2021, days spent in the home office can therefore no longer be taken into account as working days within the meaning of the commuter regulation.

If you have concluded or will conclude a home office agreement and have filed an application with the TU Wien for consideration of the commuter allowance, please check whether there is still sufficient travel from the place of residence to the place of work or whether you are only entitled to a reduced or no allowance.
