Since 2003, the ‘She Figures’ report has been published every three years, providing the latest data and analyses on indicators of gender equality in research and innovation, as well as on gender equality targets in R&I policy. The report highlights progress within the EU and, since 2021, in G20 countries from which data is available.

The Gender equality index is a composite indicator designed to measure the relative position of women and men across the EU. It enables comparisons between EU Member States and tracks progress on gender equality over time.

The report by the Helsinki Group on Women and Science outlines the categories of measures developed in the 30 European countries represented in the Helsinki Group to promote women in science. It also contains national statistical profiles, which have been compiled for the first time for all 30 countries.
