Quality Label for Excellent Teaching

Quality Labels for Excellent Teaching were also presented for the first time as part of the Best Teaching Awards ceremony. Based on a clearly defined and publicly available list of criteria, courses that meet the required standards are awarded the quality label. It is displayed directly in TISS alongside the course titel and is valid for three years. The criteria are re-examined for renewal, thus ensuring that quality standards are consistently met. The idea was developed and implemented by Shabnam Tauböck.

The following courses obtained a quality label:

  • VU Autonomous Racing Cars (Andreas Brandstätter, Grosu Radu)
  • LU Chemische Technologien (Thomas Konegger, Christian Edtmaier, Christian Gierl-Mayer, Raquel De Oro Calderon)
  • VO Grundlagen der Chemie (Georg Steinhauser)
