In October 2024, a three-day workshop took place with artist Takashi Arai and private collector and photography expert Hans Gummersbach. Hans Gummersbach provided an introduction to the history of photography and captivated the audience with original objects from his personal collection.

Takashi Arai, an experienced daguerreotypist, taught participants the art of creating photographs on metal plates using the Daguerreotype and Becquerel processes. The deep engagement with these historical techniques was an inspiring experience for everyone!
