3D-printed nanomaterials reveal new magnetic states

3D printing nanomaterials mimicking the twisted structure of DNA to control magnetism through geometry.
In a recent article published in Advanced Functional Materials, the 3DNANO group has shown how geometry can be used to control magnetism at the nanoscale by 3D-printing artificial nanostructures that mimic the shape of DNA. This work opens new directions for developing next-generation magnetic devices that could be used in advanced computing.
