SIMPLe

The project "SIMPLe" addresses the continuity of information exchange of product-specific data between product lifecycle management systems (PLM) and production planning and control systems (Manufacturing Execution Systems -MES). In the project, methods were created to enable the retrieval and processing of production-specific data from the MES and the production area. Sensor data from products in the use phase can also be evaluated to enable conclusions to be drawn in engineering. The MIVP did research work on integration possibilities of own data into the MES and provided concepts for the use of machine sensor data in industrial cloud systems.
