A new life chapter begins

After more than 30 years at TU Wien, Banoub Akladious started his well-deserved retirement on October 1, 2025.

Numerous guests gathered at TU Wien on September 29, 2025, to celebrate Banoub's retirement. As a long-standing system administrator, a man for both the finer and the rougher tasks, a moral support, GEO TU Ball chief organizer, table tennis coach, and much more, Banoub has forged lasting bonds and secured a place in the hearts of many employees. We wish him a pleasant retirement and look forward to his visit to the department.
