Info

Subhransu Dhar is a Ph.D. student and project assistant in Building Materials and Materials Technology research group at TU Wien. He completed his M.Sc. in Physics from Indian Institute of Technology Madras, India in 2013. His current research focuses on global and local rheology of cement slurries. Namely, he is investigating the development of material heterogeneities under shear (i.e. particle migration, sedimentation, lubrication layer) and their physical origin using both classical rheometry and ultrasonic imaging (Collaboration with ENS Lyon). He has prior experience of research on rheology of dense suspensions from his work at Raman Research Institute, Bangalore, India.
