Julius Jandl wins the Hans Roth Environmental Award 2023

The award for young scientists was presented for the 18th time. This year, the prize for TU Wien went to Julius Jandl for his master's thesis "Scenarios for End-of-Life Management of Building Integrated Photovoltaics". The thesis deals with the end-of-life management of building-integrated photovoltaics. The quantities of waste, energy production and the environmental impact of the use of solar cells in a residential building project were calculated. Julius carried out this master's thesis at the Technion in Haifa, where he is now continuing his research with a PhD program.
