Title:

Flexibility of use of existing buildings: Analysis of the influence of existing and future legal requirements in Vienna.

Supervisor:

Univ.Prof.Dipl.-Ing.Dr.nat.techn. Oliver Englhardt, Dipl.-Ing.BSc Rene Kurzbauer

Content:

Analyzing the flexibility of use of existing buildings plays a central role in their preservation and sustainable transformation. As part of my thesis, I have examined the legal framework for flexibility of use - from the European to the local level - and developed a tool that enables a simple analysis of this flexibility.

In the future, it is crucial to create innovative approaches that ensure the protection of existing buildings while promoting their adaptability and further development.
