Courses offered at the Institute of Spatial Planning

In terms of university teaching, the prime task of the Institute is to meet the teaching requirements demanded by the catalogues of compulsory and optional subjects in the various course curricula, particularly with regard to the degree courses offered by the Faculty of Architecture and Spatial Planning, but also with regard to the coordination and teaching of Institute-related course modules offered by TU Wien as a whole.

The teaching activities of the Institute's staff are supplemented and enhanced by the recruitment of external experts as teaching associates, guest professors and guest lecturers. Moreover, the involvement of external teaching staff plays an essential role in strengthening international inter- and extra-university contacts and cooperation. The incorporation of new media in teaching activities is likewise being progressed.
