During the MOVE.Walk, Lena Rücker (MA 18) led a group of students on a tour of the 6th district, showcasing pilot measures that promote gender-sensitive urban planning. These measures aim to make public mobility spaces more inclusive for all users, with examples including wider pavements, tactile ground indicators, optimised lighting, and additional seating. These measures increase safety and comfort for all users.

Finally, the group discussed how these measures could be integrated with climate change adaptation strategies, such as greening and shading, in the future.
