What is spatial planning?

The study of spatial planning is characterised by the broad spectrum of matters addressed. Thus, spatial planners deal with the different demands of the economy and society on human settlement areas and natural spaces and the resulting opportunities and conflicts. Consequently, graduates can also work in a variety of fields of activity at different levels (from the neighbourhood level to the international level).
