The National Institute of Informatics (NII) in Tokyo, Japan, and TU Wien have maintained a long-standing and productive research collaboration for nearly 15 years. On September 16, 2024, Prof. Emmanuel Planas, Deputy Director at NII, visited TU Wien to explore ways to further enhance this already vibrant partnership and meet with key collaborators in the field of informatics.

NII offers research internships twice a year, and Master's and PhD students in informatics are encouraged to visit the JASEC website for application details.
