TU-Ball 2021 cancelled

Due to the current situation around the Corona pandemic the upcoming ball unfortunately cannot take place.

In evening dress, tailcoat or dinner jacket to the Hofburg at the end of January - the TU Ball is a tradition. As one of the oldest ball events in Vienna - going back to the "Techniker-Kränzchen" at the Polytechnical Institute - the TU Ball, which has always been sold out in recent years, was naturally to be continued in 2021.

We regret to inform you that the TU-Ball 2021 has to be cancelled due to the current situation around Covid-19. The health of all participants and guests is of course our priority. The motto "Technology is dancing" cannot be implemented in the way that this joint celebration deserves while adhering to the applicable safety measures and requirements for events.

We are therefore looking forward to 2022 with hope, so that we can once again see national and international guests from science, business and politics dancing alongside students and researchers.
