This was the 1st Multilocal Symposium!

From May 10 to 12, 2023, the Vienna University of Technology hosted the first Multilocal Symposium at the landuni in Drosendorf. For three days, scientists, students, regional actors and other interested persons dealt with multilocal lifestyles, especially in rural areas.

On Thursday, Barbara Steinbrunner presented together with Kerstin Schmid the results of the TU research project "Räumliche Handlungsmöglichkeiten im Kontext Multilokalität und ländlicher Raum", opens an external URL in a new window, within the framework of which the symposium was organized. Arthur Kanonier presented on Friday in the session "Multilocality in practice" the recently published ÖROK study, opens an external URL in a new window  with recommendations on how to deal with leisure residences.
