This fall, the second funding period of the TU-D doctoral school has started, and new students have come. Saeed Rasouli has successfully applied for a position in the doctoral school and starts working on subproject “Probing and manipulating atomic-scale defects on surfaces of 2D materials”. One of his first activities was learning how to use the non-contact atomic force microscope.

We welcome the new group member and look forward to exciting results!
