ReStart Scholarship of the Professional MBA Automotive Industry goes to ...

The Continuing Education Center wishes Mr. El Hajj big success for his two years MBA study.

COVID-19 has had a significant impact on the automotive and supply industry in a previously unknown dimension. In order to give a special support to the automotive industry after the turbulent year 2020, the Continuing Education Center of the TU Wien in cooperation with the Slovak University of Technology in Bratislava has decided to offer another partial scholarship – ReStart Scholarship -  for the re-start this year.

On July 23, 2020 the online hearing took place. Because all candidates fulfilled the admission requirements and were suitable for the scholarship, the selection was difficult. After a long discussion the jury selected a winner.  Mr. Maroun El Hajj, Lebanon could convince with his motivation and professional background. Since September 2016 he is currently working as an Assistant Service Manager at IMPEX, the exclusive distributor of Chevrolet, Cadillac and Isuzu in Lebanon. He finished a  Bachelor Study in Mechanical Engineering at the  Notre Dame University – Louaize (NDU), Lebanon. With the MBA Program he wants to upgrade his skills to challenge existing perspectives and empower personal development to gain confidence on high management level. He speaks four language and can bring his experience in the class to understand cultural diversity which is highly need on an international level.
