Adam Pasik has just published the article "Uncertainty estimation for a new exponential-filter-based long-term root-zone soil moisture dataset from Copernicus Climate Change Service (C3S) surface observations" in Copernicus's Geoscientific Model Development.
- A global, satellite-based root-zone soil moisture data set was generated.
- A method for estimating uncertainties at each measurement time was developed.
- The estimated uncertainties appear to be a robust and realistic representation of the characteristics of the data.
