Miguel Ángel Cascales Sandoval Wins Prestigious Kelvin Prize for Outstanding PhD Thesis

The "Physics of 3D nanomaterials" group is proud to announce that Miguel Ángel Cascales Sandoval, a postdoctoral researcher in our group, has been awarded the prestigious Kelvin Prize by the University of Glasgow’s School of Physics and Astronomy. This distinguished honor recognizes his exceptional PhD thesis titled "Investigation of Magnetic States in Synthetic Antiferromagnets with Chiral Interlayer Interactions via Magneto-Optical Methods".

Miguel Ángel completed his PhD within the Materials and Condensed Matter Physics Group at the University of Glasgow under the supervision of Dr. Amalio Fernandez-Pacheco.
