Master Project excursion to Tyrol and Vorarlberg

As part of the project Master Project - Spatial planning control of second and secondary residences in the Alpine region in the summer semester 2024, the Research Unit Land Policy and Land Management organised an excursion to Tyrol and Vorarlberg.

As part of the Master's project, an excursion to Tyrol and Vorarlberg took place from 13 May to 16 May 2024. 17 students and the teaching team, consisting of Barbara Steinbrunner, opens an external URL in a new window, Arthur Kanonier, opens an external URL in a new window, Andreas Falch, opens an external URL in a new window and tutor Johannes Schlager, opens an external URL in a new window, took part in the excursion.


The first two days were spent in the Tyrolean capital of Innsbruck, before travelling on to Landeck and Vorarlberg. In Innsbruck, the programme included a visit to the city with former mayor Georg Willi and provincial governor Anton Mattle. The second half of the excursion included visits to communities such as Lech, Schröcken and Warth am Arlberg and Schruns in Montafon. The district administrations of Bludenz and Landeck were also visited.
