Visiting Professor Dr Benjamin Davy is organising a seminar on the topic of Focus: Spatial Law - Land Use Ethics, opens an external URL in a new window in the summer semester 2021. In the course, students will learn about a selection of ethical positions on land use. In his book "A Sand County Almanac" (1949), Aldo Leopold founded land ethics as a sub-field of applied ethics. Students will become familiar with concrete applications of ethical positions to land policy, property rights and spatial planning.
