How do you write a data management plan (DMP) - and why anyway?

Funding bodies, in their request for open science and FAIR principles, increasingly require well-defined data management as well as a Data Management Plan (DMP). The workshop covers the expectations of funders as well as the benefits for individual researchers from improved data management and useful tips for the creation of DMPs.

Introduction to Git

You have heard of GitHub or GitLab but are not sure if such Git-based systems are suitable for you? In this workshop you will learn how to manage code and datasets in Git, keep control over different versions and share data with others. You will gain an understanding of the basic concepts of Git and tools that support researchers working with Git repositories. Specific tips for working efficiently with TUgitLab are also included.
