On November 6, 2024, the Karl Rinner Prize, opens an external URL in a new window 2023 of the Austrian Geodetic Commission was awarded to Dr. Marcus Franz Wareyka-Glaner. The prize was presented by the President of the ÖGK Univ.-Prof. Dr. Werner Lienhart and DI Christian Lidl as sponsor representative (BAIK). As part of the award ceremony at TU Wien, Dr. Wareyka-Glaner gave a keynote speech on the topic of precise GNSS positioning using PPP.
