We are pleased more than 1000 participants took part in an internal further education program during the last purely virtual semester. This proves that not only the TUW students but also the employees are competent in distance learning.

Where are the new rooms located?

The new classroom “Luftpavillion” is located in courtyard 2 at Karlsplatz 13. With support of GUT, some adaptation and renovation measures were carried out so that this building can be used for seminars.

What about" Corona security measures"?

All seminars are carried out in compliance with the safety precautions valid at the time of the seminar. Here too, we can count on the support of the colleagues from GUT, who provide additional disinfectant dispensers and, if necessary, disposable masks. You will find out exactly what will apply in good time before the seminar begins - when the concrete traffic light status has been defined.

Can I continue to study at home?

Of course we will continue the successful way into the "digital learning age". In the coming hybrid semester, virtual courses will continue to be offered. These are specially marked in TISS (as a note at the date). In order to find the optimal combination of virtual and presence formats in the long run, these will be evaluated separately in the winter semester and we ask you to participate in this survey already now.

Our seminars were always additionally illustrated in a catalog. Due to the many new features that TISS offers for users, we have decided to concentrate on this platform.

On Monday, 14.09.2020 we offer a telephone hotline especially for caring relatives. You can take advantage of this individual telephone consultation for nursing relatives during the time windows of 11.00-12.00 and 16.00-17.00.
