Graduation Ceremony of Professional MBA Automotive Industry and General Management MBA

On December 5th, 2022, the participants of the university program "Professional MBA Automotive Industry" and "General Management MBA" celebrated their successful graduation together. The 20 graduates came from 5 different countries and thus represented the international significance of the TU Wien Academy for Continuing Education ("TU Wien Academy").

The Dean of TU Wien Academy Prof. Dr. Wolfgang Güttel welcomed all alumni, guests and representatives of the cooperation partners.
On behalf of the cooperation partner spoke doc. Ing. Mikuláš Bittera, PhD, Vice-rector for Education and Students Care, STU Bratislava, about the more than 10 years of good cooperation between the two universities and the successful development of the MBA program for automotive and supplier industry, which is unique in Europe. 

As festive speaker, Dipl.-Ing. Bernd Kögler, MBA Alumnus Professional MBA Automotive Industry Class 2015-2017, Plant Manager, Pankl High Performance Systems) warmly congratulated the alumni. He particularly emphasized the graduates' ability to deal with various challenges after graduation. 

Prof. Dr. Wilfried Sihn, the Academic Director of the Automotive MBA, reviewed the highlights of the first MBA program for the automotive and supplier industry during the two-year study program. 

Afterwards, Prof. Dr. Wolfgang Aussenegg, the Academic Director of the General Management MBA, which has been offered in cooperation with the University of Continuing Education Krems for more than 20 years recommended the graduates to appreciate their postgraduate education as a special asset in their curriculum vitae and to regard it as an investment from which one can benefit for a lifetime.

The highlight of the ceremony was the presentation of the diplomas to the graduates by the academic directors.

The "Best Study Award" went to Mr. Robin Killian, MBA from the MBA Automotive Industry and Mr. Bogdan Moldovan, MBA from the General Management MBA. The graduation speeches were held by Mrs. Lidija Soldic, MBA, a representative of the graduates of the MBA Automotive Industry, and by Mrs. Athena Agin, MBA for the General Management MBA.
