Robert Weber is now formally retired. At his retirement ceremony on September 18, Robert gave his farewell lecture. However, those who know him a little can anticipate that this could not have been his last lecture. In fact, he has already given at least one unit of Introduction to Potential Theory. We are pleased and grateful that Robert will still be with us as a lecturer and will continue to support Higher Geodesy in many other ways. We hope he will remain connected to us for many more years, personally and professionally, and wish him a relaxed but entertaining retirement.
