Congratulations to Magdalena for her PhD defense!

Magdalena successfully defended her PhD thesis and is now continuing her work as a Postdoctoral researcher in our group. For her thesis, Magdalena developed new analysis methods for a reliable investigation of the spatial distribution of proteins in the cellular plasma membrane, which allow to circumvent overcounting artifacts in single molecule localization microscopy (SMLM). In addition, she established analysis tools specific to the needs of SMLM performed under cryogenic temperatures.
