Anna Pölz receives Dieberger-Skalicky Scholarship

Anna Pölz is a doctoral candidate at the Institute of Hydraulic Engineering and Water Resources Management and the Research Center Water & Health at TU Wien. Her research focuses on predicting karst spring discharges and water quality using machine learning-based and hybrid models. She is supervised by Assist. Prof. Julia Derx, Prof. Alfred Paul Blaschke, and Prof. Andreas Farnleitner. Her research convinced a jury of professors at TU Wien.

The Dieberger-Skalicky Scholarship for PhD students of € 6000 supports research activities in the fields of energy and environment, medical technology, and information and communication technology. The Andreas Dieberger – Peter Skalicky Scholarship Foundation funds expenses related to research activities, such as scientific publications, participation in conferences and costs for research stays.
