[EN] TUWEL Basics - efficient from the beginning

In this workshop you will learn the basics as well as the first steps with TUWEL.

TUWEL is the central e-learning platform of the TU Wien. In this workshop the following topics will be dealt with in particular:

  • General overview of the essential TUWEL functions
  • TUWEL course creation and course settings
  • Orientation in TUWEL: navigation, blocks, personalized area, content area
  • Creating resources and activities for digital teaching
  • Course design
  • Set up the grading system
  • Student and group administration
  • Grade export to TISS
  • Bringing your lecture into the next semester
  • Detailed program see documents section.

Target group: All teachers and staff of TU Wien who have little or no experience with TUWEL/Moodle from a didactic and technical perspective.

 

Learning outcomes:

After completing this training, you will be able to...

... describe and use the most important functions of TUWEL.

... create a TUWEL course and make course settings.

... fill and design a TUWEL course with content.

... enrol and grade students in the course.

... describe the administration of the TUWEL course.
